Family Photo Box

Here's is the 4th project made from the Avonlea collection. This box is big enough to hold 4x6 photographs. Great place to store those photos until you are ready to scrap them, or you could display this box on a shelf and share with family and friends.
There is still plenty of paper left in the workshop kit to make other things. Tomorrow I'll post the wedding card that I made. Happy Paper-crafting!

Scrapping Your Family History

Scrapping your family history is easy with the Avonlea collection. Above is a 12x12 layout featuring three generations of the Wilson Family. The layout also has  a "hidden" tag that can be used to journal the Wilson's history from Scotland, to Pennsylvania and then to Ohio.  It tucks up under photo on the right. I'm not sure what I'll do with this layout just yet. I may frame it and put it on my wall or add it to my family history scrapbook.

This was the third layout I was able to make from the same collection in my previous posts. I also made a Photo Storage Box (I'll post pictures of it tomorrow) and there is still plenty of paper left over to do even more projects! This scrapbook workshop  from CTMH is definitely worth the price. Happy Paper-crafting everyone!

My First Official CTMH Layout

Here it is! This is my first layout with the Avonlea collection I received with my CTMH consultant kit. Although, it's not my first layout ever, it was the first time that I have done an entire layout only using CTMH products. It was a lot of fun and didn't take very long with the guide that they give you to create it. I added a few personal touches of my own that varied from the guide.

Supplies:
1. Avonlea Paper Pack
2. Avonlea Cardstock: Off White, Avonlea Teal, Avonlea Green and Slate
3. Avonlea Completements Canvas Shapes
4. CTMH Exclusive Inks: Choclate and Slate
5. My Acrylix Stamp Set: Avonlea Scrapbooking Workshop: Everyday Life
6. Stamping Blocks 1x1; 2x3.5 and 3x3
7. Parlor Velvet Rub-Ons: Grey

After doing these two pages there is still plenty of paper left to do other projects. So stayed tuned!

I recieved my Close to my Heart kit

I received my Close To My Heart Kit last week and the collection of paper that came with it was the Avonlea collection. I am sooo excited to being working with this collection, because not only do I love paper crafting, but I also love doing family history. This collection is perfect for that. Some of the paper has a family tree on it and the colors are great for scrapping those old family photos that are hiding in shoe boxes in our closets or under our beds.

Welcome to my Blog.

Welcome to my Blog! My name is Stephanie and I LOVE to paper craft as you can read in the about me section. I"m new to this whole blogging thing, but thought this would be a great way to share my adventures in paper crafting and my new adventure in being a independent  consultant for Close to My Heart. My plan is to post weekly updates and to share what I used to create cards, scrap book layouts and other paper crafted items. So check back often!
